MARGARET SOPHIE (MAKSIN)

Margaret Sophie (Maksin) Roberts, age 98, of Heidelberg, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Wife of the late Thomas Roberts. Mother of Rebecca (Anthony) Mitchell and Lisa (David) Dunn. Grandmother of Leah (Adam) Weaver, Aaron (Katie) Mitchell, Ashley (Adam) Cgynarowitz, Brea Dunn, Thomas (Melissa) Dunn, David (Lindsey) Dunn and the late Laura Dunn; nine great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Adam and Anna Maksin. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. Family and friends are being received on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 2-8 p.m., at the LEO J. HENNEY FUNERAL HOME, 323 Second Avenue, Carnegie. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, 330 Third Avenue, Carnegie, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Chartiers Cemetery, 810 Noblestown Road, Carnegie, PA 15106. In lieu of flowers, family suggest contributions to a homeless shelter of your choice.
