Glenshaw, PA - Maria da Conçeicão Barroso Correa de Faro, 93, of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025.

Born on December 8, 1931, in Brazil, Maria came from a storied family whose roots in Portugal go back many centuries. She and her beloved husband, Walter, shared a deep and unwavering devotion to one another and to their family throughout 56 years of marriage, until Walter's passing in May 2016. After raising their family in Brazil, Maria and Walter moved to Pittsburgh in 1998 to be closer to their daughters, who by then had settled abroad.

Maria was a woman of quiet strength and grace who valued discretion, loyalty, and above all, family. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward her love, warmth, and enduring spirit.

She is survived by her three daughters: Dr. Lilian Clairmont (Tom Clairmont), Patricia Sadeh-Koniecpol (Dr. Norman Sadeh-Koniecpol), and Adriana Aubert, widow of the late Dr. Didier Aubert; her grandchildren, Greg Wehner, Jr., Stephanie Wehner, Andrew Wehner, Rachel Sadeh, Maïté Sadeh, Natacha Bruno (Damien Bruno), Gwladys Aubert, and Laetitia Aubert; and her great-grandchildren, Eva Bruno and Axel Bruno.

A private blessing ceremony was held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
