MARILYN D.

Marilyn D. Sismour, age 96, of McCandless Township, passed away on April 11, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 50 years to the late William L. "Bill" Sismour. Loving mother of Linda (Mike) Klein, Mark (Diane) Sismour, Blake (Karen) Sismour and the late Gary Sismour; mother-in-law of Teresa Sismour. Marilyn was a devoted grandmother to Elizabeth (Sam) Short, Sarah (Dr. Erik) Warren, Matthew (Alison) Klein, Katie Sismour, Nicole Sismour, Gary Sismour, Maggie Riddle, Kimberly (Jason) Harkobusic, Heather (Ryan) Frable, Brittany (Ben) Sepe, and Evan (Danielle) Sismour. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Marilyn dedicated 20 years of service to Joseph Horne's, Lazarus, and Macy's as the head of the credit office. A long time member of St. Alexis Parish, where she was a Lady of Charity for 18 years and served as a Eucharistic Minister. Marilyn had a deep love for her family and enjoyed bowling, gardening, and reading.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, 7720 Perry Highway, www.simonsfuneralhome.com.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00 AM, at St. Aidan Parish-St. Alexis Church, 10090 Old Perry Highway.
