MARILYN

Marilyn Prybock, age 92, formerly of Penn Hills, passed peacefully on July 29, 2026. Marilyn was born on March 3, 1934, to Hilda and Herman Blohm in Brentwood, PA. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John, and her two sisters, Barbara Fischer and Janice Ritchey.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Frank (Cheryl), Barbara (Victor) Calfe, and David; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Marilyn dedicated more than 40 years to working as an aide in the Penn Hills School District, where she touched the lives of countless students and staff members through her kindness, compassion and caring spirit.

Marilyn enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with crossword puzzles and Sudoku.

Above all, Marilyn's greatest joy was the life she built with her beloved husband, John. Their travels, laughter and shared adventures were the heart of her happiest memories.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Redstone and to Redstone Hospice for the love, compassion and support they showed Marilyn and her family. Their kindness and care brought comfort to Marilyn and to those who loved her during her final days.

Services and interment are private and entrusted to ENGLISH FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. Memorial contributions can be made in Marilyn's name to Redstone Highlands (Murrysville) or the Alzheimer's Association.
