Age 70, a longtime resident of Blawnox, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Mark was born on August 22, 1955, and was the son of the late Coleman Novak and Helen (Edward) Beaman. Beloved husband of Maureen Novak; loving father of Kimberly Novak (Vince) and Heather Ferraro (Dan) and the late William J. Novak (surviving wife, Danita); cherished grandfather of Aydin, Branden, Emma, Dylan, Caitlyn, Carter, Tyler, Blake, Skyler, and Pap Pap to many others; brother of Fred Novak (Julie) and the late Andrew Novak.



Mark will be deeply missed for his love of his family, getaway weekends, bingo, trips to the casino, playing cards, and the Pirates.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Avenue, Aspinwall. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10 a.m., at Hoboken Presbyterian Church, 921 North Avenue, Blawnox, with a luncheon to follow.
