MARK W.
Mark W. Thimons, age 73, of Gibsonia, PA, on March 24, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret Scholl Thimons. Beloved husband for 38 years of Jean Kort Thimons. Loving father of Matthew Thimons (Kelsey) and Jami Reap (Bryan). Brother of Allen Thimons (Suzanne), Jerry Thimons (Jeanie), and Susan Simoni (Jeff). Adored Pap of Nora, Avery, and Bennett. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mark spent a long career working as an auto mechanic and had built race cars for many years. He was never not working on something around the house and always had a project. He enjoyed sports car racing, good pizza, family vacations to the beach, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved to spend time with his dog of 16 years, Vinnie, and was forever searching for the world's best cinnamon bun with his sweet tooth. Mark had a great sense of humor and had the ability to make anyone laugh, even on hard days.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends who will always remember him for his love and devotion. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation, at scleroderma.org.
