MARTHA ELIZABETH
Martha Elizabeth Monaco, age 87, went to be with the lord on October 4, 2025. Martha grew up and lived in the same house in East Liberty for her entire life. She was employed by West Penn Hospital for 44 years in the Radiology File Room, with her dear friend, Theresa Capone. She is survived by her niece, Michele Riley (Jim); sister-in-law, Linda Monaco; great-nieces, Megan (Trey) Wertz, Jessica (Monte) Mellott; as well as her great-great-niece and nephew, Jane and Caden. She was preceded in death by her dear parents, Michael D and Angeline T (Molino) Monaco; and her brother, Fred Monaco.
Visitation will be at NEELY FUNERAL HOME, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 3-7 PM. The family recommends wearing something black and gold to celebrate Martha's love of her Steelers.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 12 Noon, at St. Matthew Parish, St. Bonaventure Church. Everyone please meet at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, at stjude.org.
