MARY A. (TORBICH) MARTIN


Of Duquesne, age 69, passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.



Mary was the beloved and precious wife of Timothy J. DeBold, Sr. for 22 years.



She was the stepmother of Tabitha Deering of Penn Hills and Timothy J. DeBold, Jr. of Monroeville.



Mary was the "Nana" of Mario Borelli, Angelo Borrelli, Mya Borrelli and Ella Hill; and the great-grandmother of Jade Marie Borrelli.



Mary was the sister of Patsy Flanagan, Thomas (late Beverly) Torbich, Donna Torbich, William Torbich, Daniel Torbich, Rita (Stanley) Wypych, Betsy Torbich, Joe (Marlene) Torbich, Helen (Dave Sacramento), the late Andrew Torbich and the late Shirley Carmoney.



She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.



Mary was a 1974 graduate of General Braddock High School. Before retiring, she was employed for 45 years as an Administrative Assistant with UPMC. The first 35 years were spent at UPMC Presbyterian's Radiation and Oncology Department. The last ten years of her career were spent at the Liver Cancer Center in the UPMC Lillian Kaufmann Building.



For enjoyment, Mary loved to visit beaches at various locations, including Hawaii, Florida, Aruba and Punta Cana. When at home, she appreciated the serenity of her own pool. Mary also cherished time spent with her lifelong friends.



All are welcome on Friday, from 2-8 p.m., at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC., TURTLE CREEK / MONROEVILLE CHAPEL, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Panachida will be prayed on Friday, at 7 p.m.



A Divine Liturgy will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church in Braddock, on Saturday, at 10 a.m.
