South Strabane, PA - Age 70, of South Strabane, she passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by her family and friends. She worked ten years at Equibank in Clairton and then 33 years for the PA Bureau of Hearings & Appeals.

Mary Anne will be remembered for her unmatched kind heart and smile that could light up a room. She would do anything for anyone without hesitation. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved spending time with friends stamping and creating greeting cards. Mary Anne loved to travel and had a true zest for life.

She was everyone's "second mom" or "grandma they never had," as she truly cared about everyone and instantly made them feel like a part of her family. That was her gift, inclusion, and she shared that gift with everyone. She loved boating on the lake or just hanging around a camp; she just wanted to enjoy things with people she cared about. She will be truly missed by anyone who has met her, no matter how long you have known her for. She was a graduate of Clairton High School (1973) and a graduate of Carlow College.

Mary Anne is survived by her loving husband, David Straub, of 14 years; her children, Richard Catalogna (Jaime) of Peters Twp., and Carrie Brown (Evan) of Chartiers, Houston; her grandchildren, Brianna Catalogna, Gabrielle Catalogna, Tessa Valencia, Kendra Valencia, Gage Valencia, Quincy Brown, Mela Brown, Troy Donnelly, Teague Donnelly, Timothy Donnelly, Benjamin Walker, and Jacob Walker; her siblings, Paulette (Orsini) Hummer of Washington, PA, Peter Orsini (Patricia) of Peters Twp., and Chris Orsini (Kim) of Ohio; her in-laws, Ellen (Straub) and Gary Pandolfo and Susan (Straub) and John Litzinger; and her lifelong best friend of 47 years, Lisa McCormick.

Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM, at BEINHAUER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317, part of St. John XXIII Parish.
