MEINERT

MARY B. (DINA)

Of Upper St. Clair, passed peacefully on January 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Mary was born on September 8, 1934, in Ambridge, to the late Stephen and Mary Dina. She was a graduate of St. Veronica High School and later worked at American Bridge, until her marriage to David C. Meinert, also of Ambridge.

Mary and Dave spent the first two years of their marriage in Germany, while Dave was stationed with the U.S. Army. During that time, they traveled extensively throughout Europe. Mary and Dave shared 60 years of marriage, before his passing in February 2018.

Mary is survived by her four children: Susan (Charles) Bianco, Paul (Melissa) Meinert, Karen (Jeff) DeRoss and Kurt (Amy) Meinert. She was a devoted grandmother to Jessica, Ryan (Sara), Mathew, Nicole, Brittany (Jon), Craig (Jordan), Kyle, Brooke and Brett; and a proud great-grandmother to Luca, Owen and Brinley.

Mary was active in her church and especially enjoyed shopping, playing bridge, and tennis. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her family. Mary's warmth, kindness, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Artis Senior Living and Commonwealth Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Louise de Marillac Church, St. Catherine Laboure Parish, 320 McMurray Road, Upper St. Clair, on February 12, at 10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org
