D'ABARNO

MARY J. (LIEBERMAN)

Mary J. D'Abarno (nee Lieberman) was born on August 2, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Irving and Evelyn (Becker) Lieberman. Her middle name has been redacted because she always hated the sound of it, and that seems like the kind of attention to detail she would appreciate.

Mary was always fiercely independent and loved both classic rock music and non-fiction literature, passions which she passed on to her sons. She also loved German Shepherds, five of whom served as loyal guardians and members of her family through the years.

She graduated college and spent a short time as a secretary, before meeting the love of her life, Francesco Antonio D'Abarno, after which she spent her time as a devoted wife, mother, and daughter to everyone around her. She was known for her wit, sarcasm, and her endless generosity.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and brother, James Irving Lieberman.

She is survived by her husband, Francesco; her son, Francesco Jr. and his wife, Stephanie; her son, Joseph and his wife, Krystal. She is also survived by several of her husband's siblings, to whom she was a surrogate older sister in their youth.

At Mary's request, all viewing services were private. She was buried next to her parents in

Bush Creek Cemetery, Irwin. Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township. In lieu of flowers, consider sending a donation to the charity of your choice. View obituary and leave condolences at www.siwicki-yanickofh.com/obituary/Mary-DAbarno
