MARY JO

Age 80, of North Huntingdon, passed away on June 17, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian, surrounded by her family and wonderful caregivers. Mary Jo was born on November 4, 1945, in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and lived most of her life in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Thomas J. Marion; and her daughters, Annetta Marion and Maria Marion. Also surviving are two brothers, two sisters-in-law, and several cousins, nephews, and nieces. Mary Jo graduated from Norwin High School in 1963, and shortly thereafter worked as a secretary in the attendance office at the high school. A few years later, she began a secretarial position at West Penn Power, at Cabin Hill, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. An avid book lover, Mary Jo became an ardent supporter of the local Norwin Library and eventually started running many successful fundraisers for the library through the Friends of the Library organization. Mary Jo will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and beautiful smile. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
