MARY L. (PAULLET)

Age 86, of Penn Hills; formerly of Bloomfield, was called home to her heavenly Father on April 14, 2026. Devoted wife of 58 years to the late Philip, she is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Rick) Tamburri and Joan (David) Kish, sister-in-law Patricia, grandmother to Christine (Wally) Tamburri, Marisa (Shawn) Baker and Matthew Kish. The last member of 12 siblings, Mary was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Hedwig Paullet, siblings Jean (Ernie) Vantosky, Ruth (Francis) Gratton, Ross "Red" (Lorraine) Paullet, Richard "Dick" (Kathleen) Paullet, Infant Norman Paullet, Carol (George) Trakofler, Carl Alan "Hands" Paullet, Doris Carlin, Robert "Bob" (Patricia) Paullet, John Thomas "J.T." (Kathy) Paullet, James D. "Denny" (Dolores) Paullet and 28 nieces and nephews.

Mary and Phil owned and operated an Italian delicatessen, Minitalia Foods, in Monroeville and Penn Hills for many years. She was a devoted wife and mother, never missing any of her daughter's events. Aside from family, she had 2 other passions; praying for others and Halloween. The "Queen of Halloween" ran the Penn Hills haunted hayride "Screaming Hollow" for 13 years where she made became lifelong friends with Tom Soxman, Jack Schaffer, Bill Sterf, Carmen Sabataso, Janice Polito and others.

Friends received Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4-7 PM at SOXMAN FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 7450 Saltsburg Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15235. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 AM at St. Irenaeus Church/Holy Family Parish. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
