MARY M.

Mary "Dolly" (Gentile) Bercik, 95, died peacefully on June 25, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born February 8, 1931, in Turtle Creek, PA, to Anthony and Mary (Williams) Gentile.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bercik; and siblings, Michael, Francis, Angie, Earl, Daisy, Tony, and Bill.

She is survived by her children, Donna (Mike) Barca, John (Pam) Bercik, and Mic Bercik. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael (Nicole), Timothy (Heidi), Elizabeth, Matthew and Julie; and great-grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob, Alyssa and Mikey. Finally, she is survived by her sister, Lucy, cousin, Josephine; and many nieces and nephews.

Commonly known as "Nan," her home was always open, and her kitchen was the heart of it, a place where family gathered, friends were welcomed, and no one left hungry. She found her greatest joy in cooking and in feeding the people she loved. As she liked to say, there are two types of people in this world: those who are Italian and those who wish they were.

Family and friends received at the GEORGE IRVIN GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 3511 Main Street, Munhall, on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 2:00-6:30 PM, where a funeral service will be held promptly at 6:30 PM, with Pastor Pete Giacalone officiating. Please leave your memories and condolences at:
