MARY ONAITIS

Mary Onaitis Hutchinson, 82, of Jensen Beach, FL, passed away on February 19, 2026. She was born on October 26, 1943, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Mary married her husband, Dennis Hutchinson, on Valentine's Day in 1986, and together they built a life side by side over the years. Mary is survived by her sister, Bernadette West; and her twin brother, James Onaitis. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Powderly. Mary is further survived by her husband, Dennis; her stepsons, Steven and Andrew; her daughter-in-law, Julie; and her grandchildren, Hayley, Jessica, Ava, and Kane.

Mary worked as a nurse in the greater Pittsburgh area for over 40 years, a profession in which she was truly caring and dedicated. She took pride in her work and in the many patients whose lives she touched throughout her career.

Mary was well known for her love of entertaining and her gift for decorating. She was a proud "cat mom," and she loved spending time with friends and family, especially during the holidays. Mary was a woman of strong character and determination. She was a loving wife; a caring sister, stepmother, aunt, and grandmother; and a devoted friend. She will be remembered and deeply missed by her family and by those who knew and loved her.
