MARY "TRUDY"
Age 86, of South Park, following a wonderful life, passed quietly into the hands of the Lord on Monday, December 22, 2025. Daughter of Anna (McMullen) and Henry J. Grabenstein. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Ronald L. Bretz. Loving mother of three sons, Scott (Anne Perling), Todd (Kelli Griffith), and Alan (Valencia Jiles). Gramma to Angelica, DJ, Ciera, Logan, Aniyah, Quincy, Evan, Adam, and Jessica. Great-gram to Oaklyn and Holden. Faux mom to Joey Brandt, Colleen (Rushing), Becky (Recer), and Denise (Raggio).
Being a longtime member of St. Thomas A'Becket Parish, she was involved in just about every aspect of the church. She was a registered nurse for 40 years, with the elderly being her passion.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236.
