PATTON

MEGHAN C.

Meghan C. Patton, age 41, of Mt. Lebanon, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, leaving behind a space that can never truly be filled. Meghan lived with a tender heart, a vivid imagination, and a rare ability to make others feel deeply seen, understood, and loved.

She was the cherished daughter of Don and Cathy Patton and the deeply loved sister of Elizabeth Turbyfill and Mary Patton (Nick Simon). Meghan absolutely adored her role as aunt to Jack and Blair Turbyfill, children of Elizabeth and Brian Turbyfill, and Alexander Patton-Simon, child of Mary Patton and Nick Simon. To them, she was more than an aunt - she was magical, endlessly patient, creative, and without question the coolest aunt ever. She also leaves behind her beloved aunt, Mary Wilt and her brother dog, Remy. Meghan was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Joan Bauer, and Samuel and Mary Patton.

A 2002 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School, Meghan later earned her bachelor's degree in English from Duquesne University. She devoted much of her life to caring for individuals with special needs, work that perfectly reflected who she was at her core: compassionate, patient, gentle, and deeply empathetic. Meghan had an extraordinary gift for making people feel safe, valued, and accepted exactly as they were.

Meghan's spirit was artistic, adventurous, and beautifully unique. She loved writing poetry and pouring pieces of herself onto paper through words filled with emotion and imagination. She created mosaics with the same care and creativity she brought into every corner of her life. She felt most at peace near the ocean, wandering through the woods, listening to music, watching movies, or diving into stories of the paranormal and unexplained - things that sparked her wonder and curiosity about the world.

She loved animals fiercely, treasured children wholeheartedly, and found joy in life's small moments: laughter with family and friends, favorite songs, late-night movies, and quiet moments in nature. Meghan's warmth was unmistakable. She had a huge heart, a gentle soul, and a way of loving people that left a lasting imprint.

Though her life ended far too soon, the beauty of Meghan's spirit lives on in the many lives she touched. She will be remembered for her creativity, her sensitivity, her compassion, and the enormous love she gave so freely. She is deeply missed and will forever be loved.
