MICHAEL JAMES BRUNETTI Obituary
BRUNETTI
MICHAEL JAMES
Age 80, of Cecil Township, formerly of Mt. Lebanon and Brookline, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born March 6, 1946, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the beloved husband of Bernadine (DiPerna) Brunetti and son of the late Phillip M. and Regina S. Brunetti. Michael was a proud Vietnam veteran who served with honor in the U.S. Army.
Loving father of Janine Brunetti Paczek (Steve) and Michele Brunetti Shea (Patrick). Devoted brother of Theodore Brunetti, the late Phillip Brunetti, the late Marie Brunetti Cox, and the late Frederick Brunetti. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he adored. Michael was the cherished grandfather lovingly known as "Bup Bup" to his six adoring grandchildren, Adelina, Gracie, and Max Roman; Michael, Chloe, and Brady Shea.
Michael had a strong passion for cooking and eating delicious food, which he undoubtedly passed on to his children and grandchildren. He showed his love for his family through his cooking. Michael loved cheering on his beloved Steelers and, most of all, spending time with his wife and family.
Michael was deeply grateful for the love and care his wife, Bernie, gave him throughout his life, especially in his final years. Sunday dinners were especially meaningful to him and created memories they will all cherish forever. In his final moments, he reminded his family that although it was his time to go, his love for them would remain, and he would always be with them.
