MICHELE (GARRIPOLI)

Of Monroeville, passed away peacefully, on November 11, 2025, in Fox Chapel, PA. Born on November 2, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marion (Dennis) Garripoli. Michele's warmth and grace touched all those around her throughout her 81 years.

With deep affection, we remember Michele as the beloved wife of the late Anthony Joseph Schifino. Their nearly six-decade-long marriage was a testament to their devotion to one another, especially in the years Anthony spent as Michele's caretaker. As childhood friends who grew up in Homewood, Michele and Anthony's love story was one of true joy and shared experiences. The family takes solace, believing Michele and Anthony have been joyously reunited in Heaven.

As a loving mother, Michele leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength in her children, Anthony J. (Debra) Schifino, Jr. and Nicole M. (Daniel) Leiser. She cherished every moment with her granddaughters, Olivia Rose Leiser and Gianna Michele Schifino, and instilled in them the importance of family bonds and faithful living.

Michele will be deeply missed by her siblings, Patricia (Albert) Brocious, Nancy Garripoli and Daniel Garripoli, with whom she shared a lifelong camaraderie. She was a nurturing aunt to her many nieces and nephews, always providing guidance and support. Preceded in death by her brother, Michael Garripoli; and her sister, Denise Tortolla, Michele's spirit continues to be felt in the memories cherished by her surviving relatives.

Those who knew Michele will remember her as a dedicated and loving figure, with an unwavering spirit that stood the test of time. Her absolute love for her children and granddaughters exemplified her generous and caring nature. As we look back at Michele's life, we are reminded of her enduring faith and the strength that she exuded each day. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave-a true matriarch in every sense of the word.

Friends will be received Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville, PA (412-856-4747).
