NANCY ANN

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Ann Brindle on March 25, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on February 8, 1956, in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Sara Cecilia Green and the late John Patrick Lyons.

Nancy earned her Bachelor's degree and dedicated her life to nursing, serving mothers and children with unmatched compassion and professionalism. Her warm spirit and unwavering commitment to care made her a cherished presence in both her workplace and family.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Thomas R. Brindle, whom she married on July 7, 2001. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jamie (Paul) Schiff, Michael, and Lauren (John) Rzeznik; stepdaughters, Kimberly Springer and Marcy (Rudy) Shelly; and grandchildren, Samantha, James; step grandchildren, Billy, Emily, and Nolan. She is also survived by her siblings, Msgr. James Lyons and John "Jack" Lyons, as well as her sisters-in-law Margie Pender, Helen Cox, and brother-in-law Gary Brindle. Nancy's love and joy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities, Little Sisters of the Poor, or Animal Friends in Nancy's honor.
