NANCY D. "NANA"

Age 84, of Gibsonia, PA, on February 27, 2025. She will be embraced by her life-long partner of 52 years, the late Toni "Mimi" Coyle in whatever comes next. Loving mother of Toni Kuhn (Edward), Robert Coyle (Leanna) and Elizabeth Friel (Steve). Proud grandmother of Justin Kuhn (Faith), Cody Coyle, Dylan Coyle, Carley Friel (Darona, "Toot"), Anthony Friel and Nicholas Friel (Alexis). Also survived by one great-grandson, Niko Coyle.

Friends received Monday, 5-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where Services will follow at 8 p.m. Private interment will be held in Bakerstown Cemetery.

Toni and Nancy, in spite of prejudice and discrimination, raised Toni's children, Toni Marie, Rob and Elizabeth. Though life was tumultuous at times, love prevailed above all. Her life was one devoted to love, to Toni and their children. In their later years, Nancy was a caretaker for Toni, taking her to her daily dialysis, even learning to perform it at home. Nancy worked for 34 years with the U.S. Postal Service, mainly in the City of Pittsburgh, where she was the one of the first female letter carriers in the Hill District. She retired working in the office at the McKnight Road Post Office. Nancy was passionate about movies and cinema and over the years collected thousands of titles. Her and Toni enjoyed hosting family and friends at their camp on Lake Erie in Ripley, NY and most of all she loved caring for her family and grandchildren.
