NANCY J.

Age 83, formerly of Washington, PA, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025. Born on August 1, 1942, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Nancy was a warm and caring person, whose life was marked by her unwavering love of her husband, family and friends.

Nancy was raised by her beloved parents, Emma Jeannette Reynolds and Robert John Reynolds. Her early life was marked by the impact of World War II, when her father was drafted. She and her mother moved in with her grandparents during this chapter and she cherished her grandfather's kindness and the role he played.

Her brother, Robert (Linda), was born into the family when Nancy was eight. Nancy was overjoyed to have a sibling. His children also became dear to her, including her niece, Stacy Reynolds (Mike Runyon); and great-nieces, Eleanor and Emma; and her nephew, Robert Reynolds (Jeannine Dinella).

When asked about her most important achievement in life, she said marrying her husband, Edward P. Dora. They celebrated their wedding on Halloween in 1971 and shared 53 years of marriage, before his passing at age 91 years, in April of 2024. She was a loving mother to Denise Dora and Terri Lynn Klinger; and grandmother to Jim Dora, Ray Klinger and Jennifer Kelsay. Her home was filled with pictures of her great-grandchildren, Donovan, Rowan, Shannon, Cameron, Aerik, Evallyn, Sabrina, Daykotah and Samantha; and one great-great-grandchild, Ascari.

Beyond family, Nancy served at Highmark Insurance Company for nearly 30 years. She built a close network of beloved friends. She enjoyed spending time with these women seeing Broadway shows, taking trips, trying new restaurants, and sharing life. Her legacy will be her love of family and friends.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, November 1, from 12- 2 P.M., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA.

A Funeral Service will be held following Visitation at 2 P.M., in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. Online condolences may be left at:
