Nancy Jane Page, 83, of Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away on June 2, 2022. She was a caring person with a passion for preserving nature. Born the only child to Oscar L. Johnson & Nancy Barr Johnson on July 6, 1938, in Greensburg, PA, she was raised in Mt. Pleasant, Greensburg, and Hempfield Township, PA. She graduated from Greensburg HS in 1956 and Westmoreland Hospital School of Nursing in Greensburg in 1959. Married to Paul H. Page (d. 2020) for 58 years, mother of Heather A. A Registered Nurse, she worked in the operating room at Westmoreland Hospital, Syracuse University Hospital, Syracuse, NY, and after a break to raise her children - Mt. Lebanon Pediatrics, Mt. Lebanon, PA, among others.

Nancy said her life began when she moved to the country in 1948 where she spent hours in the fields and forest near her home. She was an avid naturalist, founding the Pgh. South Hills Bird Circle for Audubon's Christmas Bird Count and USC Citizens for Land Stewardship.

Nancy had a deep faith in God and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair, PA, involved in Choir, her beloved Women's Circle, teaching Sunday School, and serving as an Elder and Deacon. She led USC High School Theater's costume department for 25 years. She was also a Guild Member of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration, recognized for her exquisite painting on tin and theorem painting.

She cared for others all her life and made a difference in the lives of many. Her unwavering faith and compassion for all God's creatures, manifested by her life's work, is the legacy she leaves to us all.

She will be interred at Westminster Presbyterian Church columbarium. Memorial service to be held at a later date.
