NOVA GEORGETTA "GEORGIA"

Passed away peacefully by the grace of God on August 19, 2025.

She was born on November 30, 1939, in Fairfield, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Beulah Bass; her brother, Dewey Bass; sisters, Edythe Taylor and Jean Hall.

Georgetta met her best friend, Flossie Tondini, on the school bus when they were 13 years old. They later graduated together in 1957 from Wayne County High School. She was working as a waitress in Gary, Indiana when she met, (13 days later), married the love of her life, Lee Weaver. They began their life together in Pittsburgh, PA.

Since 2000, she has resided in Naples, Florida. But before that, she was a proud Pittsburgh-er for over 60 years.

Georgia's competitive nature and love of life, helped her excel in many areas, such as her career in real estate and her assortment of social activities; photography, tennis, ping- pong, bocce and Scrabble. Most recently, bingo and dominos were her favorites.

She traveled the world with Lee and when he passed, she continued sharing that joy of adventure with her children and grandchildren. She graciously and joyously shared so much with so many. She was kind, generous and fun!

She is survived by her children, Donna Kazan Weaver and Evan Weaver (Donnice); grandchildren, Anthony Weaver (Diana), Matthew Weaver (Jenna), Ashlee Weaver (Ethan); and great-grandchild, Natalee Weaver.

Georgia was a gift from God to all that knew her. Summed up beautifully by her namesake, Jorja, "to be loved by her was a gift."

Our Pittsburgh services for Georgia Weaver will be on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. We'll be at the BEINHAUER FUNERAL HOME, Peters Township location. (Their address is, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317.)

Visitation is from 11:00AM to 12:00, concluding with a Service of blessing. Interment to follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Afterwards, family and friends are invited to join us for a time of food and fellowship at Al's Cafe.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 3:00 P.M., we're having a Celebration of Life in Naples, Florida. Fresh baked cookies and iced coffee will be served in the Orchid Room. Please contact the family directly if you need directions.
