DINUZZO
OLGA H.
Olga H. DiNuzzo passed away peacefully, on Monday, October 6. Born in New Haven, CT, on September 13, 1925, she was the youngest of eight children born to Michael and Columba (Castolon) Esposito. A graduate of Hillhouse High School, Olga earned her business associates degree from Quinnipiac College for Women. Musicality was part of her family's DNA, and Olga was no exception. She played the piano and organ, had a beautiful voice, and, above all, loved to dance! An accomplished seamstress, she tailored her husband's clothes and made outfits for her daughter and her grandchildren. No stranger to the kitchen, Olga was known for her soups and, of course, homemade pasta and sauce. She also enjoyed baking, especially cookies around the holidays, an art she passed on to her children. The ultimate volunteer throughout her life, she spent 34 years working at St. Clair Hospital's Cardio/Pulmonary Rehab Center.
She lost her favorite dance partner, her husband, Donald, in 2000. Olga is survived by her children, Donna Roadman (Randy) and Fran DiNuzzo (Gail); her grandchildren: Jeremy Holdorf (Nikki), Christopher DiNuzzo, Jessica Holdorf, David DiNuzzo (Nora), and Brian DiNuzzo (Allison); six great-grandchildren: Olivia, Leo, Auggie, Donato, Conrad, and Jolene; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation, and entombment is private. If you would like to memorialize Olga, please consider making a donation in her name to Pittsburgh Youth Philharmonic Orchestra (https://www.pypo.org/), P.O.
