PACIFICA (GUASTAFERRO)

Pacifica (Guastaferro) Palombo, age 93 of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully and was reunited with her beloved husband Ferdinand on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Born in Ausonia, Italy, daughter of the late Luigi and Antoinette (Attanasio) Guastaferro. Loving mother of Benny (Kathy), Mary (Frank), Netta, Anna, Nando (Brigitte) and Andy (Stephanie). Grandmother of Fernando, Diana, Benny Jr., Sergio, Tonia, Tina, late Zacharia, Leanna, Nina, Pia, Nando Jr., Niko and Andre. Great-grandmother of Gio, Cleo, Alessia, Mateo, Aria, Talia, Kally, Ava, Will, Aubri, Riah, Aurora, Arabella, Kennedy and Noah. Sister of Lena and the late Assunta, Michael, Elvira, Mafalda, Frances and Mary. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Palombo family would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the staff at Concordia Fox Chapel for the care they gave to Pacifica during her stay there. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at MAURICE L. KNEE, LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Rd., Plum, PA 15239. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday at St. John the Baptist R. C. Church of Holy Family Parish. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
