PATRICIA KATHLEEN

Age 89, of Zelienople, formerly of Monroeville, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, three days shy of her 90th birthday.

Beloved wife of the late David J. Boes Sr.; loving mother of David (Beth) J. Boes, Jr., Carole (Jennifer Stuebing) Boes, Janet (Ben) Mondics, Kathy (Rich) Carver and Kelly (Keith) McCaffrey; Grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of seven. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Meta Schultz; and her siblings, Bill, Jack and Don; also survived by her nieces and nephews.

Patricia married her beloved husband in her youth, and together they cultivated a nurturing home for their five wonderful children. Her early stages of being a widow marked a pivotal moment, yet she rose with remarkable courage, independence, and a touch of stubbornness that inspired all around her. Patricia's life was a testament to the power of resilience. After losing her husband, she bravely returned to school, forging new relationships and crafting a life rich with purpose and connection. Her actions were a transformative influence, especially to those closest to her, showcasing the essence of true strength and perseverance. Her commitment to family and her ability to intertwine her life with those she loved remained unwavering through every challenge she faced.

A devout woman of faith, Patricia's dedication to her church was profound. Her service at St. Bernadette's was not just a duty but a calling. Her presence at mass, her voice in the choir, and her countless hours of volunteer time were the embodiment of her belief.

Patricia will be dearly missed, but her legacy will continue to resonate through the lives she touched and the lessons she imparted.

A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church-Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 12:00 pm. Interment will be private at Good Shepherd Cemetery.
