MILEY

PATRICIA M.

On Friday, July 17, 2026, Patricia M., age 92, of Robinson Township was lovingly welcomed into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ, her promotion to Glory marking the end of a beautiful journey on earth and the beginning of her eternal homecoming. Beloved wife for over 70 years of the late James E. "Red" Miley; loving mother of Cindy (Kevin) Foss and the late Scott Miley; dear grandmother of Jesse (Heather) Burroughs, Amanda Kingcade, Lisa (Ronnie) Beach; also eight great-grandchildren; sister of the late Vivian Reynolds, June Andrasko and Thomas Morris; dear aunt of Marilyn (Joe) Zuccarelli, Karen (Michael) Saltzburg and "Ty," Ben, Jerry and the late Matt and Red Miley. Sister-in-law of Bertha "Sis" Miley.

Mom was a hard working, a family loving, a devoted friend, and crafty person. She was there for us when we needed her, but she would step back and let us grow into the persons we were meant to be. She made many labors of love over years, count yourself bless if you have a quilt she made! She made a lot of our clothes/costumes over the years too! I'm glad she passed that crafty gene down to me. I'm not a quilter, yet, however I've made a lot of bears! Mom has quite the collection of my bears. She wanted everyone I made! I told her she'd have to share with others, she couldn't have all of them! Her and my dad complimented each other perfectly! They did everything together, I can only hope to live as well and full a life as they did. Helping others when we can. They took us to some awesome places over the years. They would take my kids for the summer, so I didn't have to pay a sitter for 3 kids! Just mom and I took a trip to Alaska and Galveston, TX together! We had a great time! We didn't get to see each other too often, a week here or there and usually all the kids and relatives involved. I'm not complaining it was good to see them as well. But those two trips by ourselves bridged a lot of gaps for us. I wish we had known how little time yinz had left. We'd have come sooner! So, lesson to the rest of you, (my parents always teaching us lessons as we grew), make sure you are visiting your parents, cousins, extended family, friends as often as possible! You never know when it will be the last time! Love you mom!
