Age 85, formerly of Carrick, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family, on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
Beloved wife of the late James Houy, Sr.; cherished mother of Misti (David) McMahon, Donald Boytim, Jr. and James (Bonnie) Houy, Jr.; magical MeMe of Elizabeth Houy, Rebecca (Nick) Holmes and Sarah Grace Houy (fiancé, Nathan Sogard); loving sister and friend of Diane Werner Flanders and Robert (the late Jean) Werner; special cousin of the late Daisy Dibble and Josie Barcala. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Patricia was the heart of the family, and a woman of unwavering faith She had a zest for life, a bright joyful spirit, limitless love, and will be forever missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., in the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227. A Celebration of Life reception will follow in the funeral home venue, The Whitehall House, located adjacent to the funeral home.
