LAFFEY

PATRICK THOMAS

Age 87, of Wexford, passed away on June 18, 2026. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Laffey.

Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Patricia (Harshman) Laffey; children, Lisa (Joe) Urich, Lynne (Tom) Badstibner, Dave (Ruth Anne) Laffey and Lorelei Laffey; eight grandchildren, Andrea (Jeremy), Jared, Allison, Jessica, John, Michael, Andrew (AJ) and Julia; and six great-grandchildren, Veda, Brady, Logan, Naomi, Savannah and Jonah.

Pat was a graduate of St. Veronica High School and Duquesne University, served as an officer in the United States Navy, and retired as Special Agent in Charge with the Federal Bureau of Investigation after a distinguished career. He later served as Director of Security at UPMC Oakland.

Family will welcome friends Wednesday, June 24, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, 7720 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. A Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, June 25, at 10:30 a.m., at Saints John and Paul Catholic Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley, PA 15143.
