PAUL

Paul Marchionna, age 68, of Allison Park, passed peacefully on July 2, 2026, surrounded by family at his home. He was the loving son of Angelo and Mary Marchionna, brother of Charlie (Jane) Marchionna and Linda (Robert) Askren, husband of 40 years to Marianne, father of Maria and Christina (Jordan) Weaver, and "Pap Pap" of Mila.

Born January 14, 1958, in Verona, Pennsylvania, Paul grew up with an affinity for baseball and basketball. He also took pride in his Italian heritage and enjoyed learning about his ancestors and their origins. He graduated from Penn Hills High School and then from Edinboro University, where he studied civil engineering and urban planning. He went on to have a successful career at Specialty Consultants, Inc. in Pittsburgh, from where he retired as Vice President of Construction in 2012.

Paul was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing different courses across the country. He enjoyed gardening and spending time in nature. He coached his daughters' basketball teams and was affectionately known to many as "Coach M." He was an active parishioner of St. Catherine of Sweden and a true follower of Christ.

Paul battled primary progressive Multiple Sclerosis for the past 28 years. Throughout his illness, he maintained a positive attitude and lived with intention and dignity. Everyone admired his strength, determination, and faith in painful and difficult times. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at KING FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park, PA 15101.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, at the Sts. Martha & Mary Parish, St. Catherine Of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, Allison Park, PA.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Keystone Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Paul's name.

He will be laid to rest at Holy Savior Cemetery in Gibsonia.
