RALPH B.

Ralph B. Zanella, 84, of Verona, Pennsylvania, passed away on the Fourth of July, 2026, after his illness and struggle with a neurological disease of the nerves. Ralph was the beloved husband of Carole L. Zanella of 55 years. Father of James M. Zanella of Trento, Italy. Ralph was the son of the late Battista and Anna Zanella of Verona. Brother of Louise (Alan) Savinell of Penn Hills and the late Eugene Zanella.

He is survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ralph retired as a machine operator after forty years for Daily Juice Products in Verona. Ralph was an active duty Vietnam War Army Veteran. He was a passionate reader of military history, especially WWII, an active bowler for many years, enjoyed crossword puzzles, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 13, 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona, 825 Second St., Verona, PA 15147. Burial will follow at The Verona Cemetery in Oakmont with Army Honors.
