RALPH J.
Age 94, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully, on Monday, June 23, 2025. Born on March 18, 1931, he was the son of the late Joseph and Laura (Brunner) Rauch.
Ralph was a proud life-long carpenter, whose skilled hands helped shape the landscape of Pittsburgh. Over the years, he contributed to the construction of many homes and structures, including the iconic Three Rivers Stadium - work that brought him lasting pride.
He was a devoted member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church, where he found strength and community throughout his life.
Ralph was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles (Stella) Rauch and Clarence Rauch. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Audrey Rauch; nieces and nephews, including Patty (Chuck) McGuire, David (Theresa) Rauch, Alexis (Tim) Nadler, Randy (Anna) Rauch, Trina (Spencer) Thornton and Judy (Steve) Pawelczak; and along with great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nephews, who will remember him fondly for his quiet strength, dedication and kind heart.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 4-8 p.m., at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 388 Center Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15229, with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 10:30, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Athanasius Church, West View, PA.
