REENE JOAN
Reene was born in Grafton, Wisconsin to a large family. She married Richard J. Gawronski in 1950 and raised four children.
Reene managed multiple midwest moves while raising her family, arriving in Pittsburgh in the late 1960s.
As an avid gardener, she was an active member of the Giant Oaks Garden Club for many years.
She will be remembered for her kindnesses, her faith, and her endlessly upbeat attitude.
Survived by Douglas J. (Kathleen) of Pittsburgh, Thomas R. (Anne DeChelbor) of Petaluma, CA, Daniel J. of Shadyside and Barbara J. Oursler (Robert) of Huntingtown, MD. She has five grandchildren, Christy (Jon) Liba, Rebecca (Adam) Peace, Natalie (Dan) Prokop, Zachary Oursler and Joshua Oursler.
She has seven great-grandchildren, Maren and Brooke Liba, Lachlan, Tristan and Delaney Peace, Nadia and Petra Prokop and Autumn.
Services will be held at St. Richard Church, Tuesday, December 9, at 10:30, 3841 Dickey Rd., Gibsonia. Private Interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
