REGIS WILLIAM (MICKEY)

Age 92, of Bakerstown, PA, passed away on December 6, 2025. Beloved husband of 70 years to Margaret Lucille Faett Scherer; father of Kathleen Prazer (Mark), Michael Scherer (Pamela), Timothy Scherer (Maria), Robert Scherer (Christine) and Lisa Scherer. Proud grandfather of Tim Jr., Michelle, Rachel,Tamara, Zachary, Patrick, Joseph, Ben, Kaitlin, John, Rob, Josh and Jon; great-grandfather of nine. Son of the late Benjamin and Mathilda Scherer. Also survived by sister, Dorothy Schneider; and brother, James Scherer (Sandy). Preceded in death by siblings, Ruth, Elizabeth, Mary, Benjamin, Herman, Charles (Ed), Ralph and Robert. Regis was a devoted and loving husband and father, who enjoyed hunting and racing pigeons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Per his request, there will be no visitation. He will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
