RICHARD J.

Age 69, of Dallas, Texas (formerly of McCandless), passed away on June 24, 2025. Son of the late Regis "Red" and Eleanor (Straka) Langer. Loving father of Ryan (Christina) Langer and former spouse of Elizabeth Langer. Brother of Connie (the late Thomas) O'Lare and Michael (Grace) Langer, Sr. Uncle of Christine (Ian) O'Lare, Tracy (Alex) Leary, Steven (Katie) O'Lare and the late Michael Langer, Jr.

Although he lived in Texas, Richard never lost his love for Pittsburgh sports teams and was often the first to share updates with his Pittsburgh relatives. After retiring a few years ago, he found joy spending time at Lake Whitney with his truck and trailer, where he enjoyed fishing, swimming, and biking.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Rich's name.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, July 19, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m., at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Teresa Church, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
