Age 68, suddenly on Saturday, November 6, 2021; beloved husband of 43 years of Joyce (Annibale) Pfender; cherished father of Andrew (Beverly) Pfender, Christopher (Tina) Pfender, and Robert (Arden) Pfender; and soon-to-be grandfather; son of the late George and Clara Pfender. He is survived by brothers, George (Mary) Pfender, Charles (Diane) Pfender; sisters, Bernadette Warner and Marge (Ed) Ratay; and brother, Joseph (Renee) Pfender. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Rich was a lover of nature and gardening. He was always willing to help anyone in need and was a longtime devoted member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
