RICHARD LAWRENCE GARRISON, SR. Obituary
McMurray, PA - Age 81, of McMurray, PA, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on March 1, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA, Richard lived a life defined by unwavering devotion to his family and a deep appreciation for life's simple moments.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Nassida) Garrison; loving father of Kristen Smihal (John) and Richard L. Garrison, Jr. (Kellie); and proud grandfather of Zachary Garrison (Rachel).
A graduate of North Catholic High School, he served in the United States Air Force and earned a degree from Robert Morris University.
Richard was selfless, never driven by material things, and loved his family unconditionally. He had a quiet strength and a deeply caring nature, always putting his family first and watching over them with constant love.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Funeral arrangements by BEINHAUERS. Family and friends are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-941-3211, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A blessing service will be held Monday at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with military honors.
