RICHARD P.
Age 88, of Monroeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Born March 12, 1938, in Wilkinsburg, he was the loving son of Benjamin G. and Gwendolyn (Patterson) Wilkes. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Nancy J. (Long) Wilkes; his brother, Ronald D. (the late Donna M.) Wilkes; and nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, B.G. Wilkes. Dick's faith was an important part of his life, and he served as a Deacon at Hebron Church in Penn Hills. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service at 2 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. (MONROEVILLE/PLUM CHAPEL), 445 Beatty Road, Monroeville (412-856-4747). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hebron Church, 10460 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills, PA 15235 or to Young Life Pittsburgh East Hills, 501 Jefferson Road, Penn Hills, PA 15235.
