YOBBI

RICHARD "RICK"

Richard Paul Yobbi, of Hampton Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 56 on July 4, 2026, after a very brief but extremely brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Roberta (Prividy) Yobbi. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Alisha (Kronstein) Yobbi; his cherished sons, Shane and Austin Yobbi; and beloved siblings, Alfred (Kathleen) Yobbi, Angela Lynn (Pete) Bronder, and Mark (Catherine) Yobbi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Luca and Giavana Amoroso, Derek (Chelsea) Yobbi, Lauren Yobbi, Nick (Carley) Yobbi, Jason (Jamie) Yobbi, Zachary Bronder, Alena Bronder, Dominic Yobbi, Dante Yobbi, Angelica Yobbi, and Natalia Yobbi; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooks Yobbi, Madi Rylee, and Stella Yobbi, who all loved him very much and who all made sure he knew how much he was loved in his last days.

Rick graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1988. He went on to Duquesne University and graduated in 1992 with a degree in accounting and would become a CPA shortly after. He received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. He had a successful career as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche for many years. He worked at Medrad until 2007 and then became CFO of Guardian Protection. He was currently employed at Home Pro, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, where he was a CFO. He considered his coworkers at Home Pro Inc. family and had always planned on retiring from there. He also served on many boards through the years, including Holy Family Institute and North Hills Community Outreach.

More than anything in the world, Rick cherished his family. He spent every single minute of his free time coaching his kids in every sport they ever played. He coached basketball, soccer, and most recently, hockey. Rick loved hockey and had played most of his life. Being able to coach and be involved in the boys' teams was truly special. He was president of Hampton Inline Hockey for many years, where he coached their teams to many championships. He was affectionally known as "The Hockey Whisperer." His other true passion was golf. This is what he would be doing in any free time he had. He would be on the golf course with family and friends, drinking bourbon, and smoking a cigar. It is well known that Rick rarely lost a round of golf.

Anyone who ever met Rick loved him. He will be missed tremendously by all.

Friends and family are welcomed on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM, at KING FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 2841 Woodland Circle in Allison Park, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Sts. Martha and Mary Parish- St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 2554 Wildwood Road in Allison Park, PA.

He will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
