RINA JULIA (GRADA)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Rina Julia Edwards of Pittsburgh, PA, announce her passing on October 31, 2025, at the age of 75. She touched everyone she met and always found room in her heart to love somebody new.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Raymond Edwards; and her parents, Bernard and Sarah Grada.

Her passing is mourned by her siblings, Lynn Hannan (Paul), Dale Zecca and Bernardette Tarquinio (Bill), and her many cousins.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Phil (Barbara); and daughter, April.

While she loved all her family and friends, her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Jessica Stehley (Norman Griest), Matthew Stehley, Sydney Stehley (Nick Rodman), Sydney Edwards, Sarah Gyurky, Ella Gyurky and Marina Gyurky; and her great-grandchildren, Quinn Griest, Calen Griest and Nico Rodman.

Family and friends will be received Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at SIMONS FUNERAL HOME, 7720 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., at St. John Neumann Church Regina Coeli Parish, followed by a service at the Temple of Memories Mausoleum at Allegheny Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that contributions be made in her name to St. Anthony's Guild or the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
