HITE
ROBERT "BOB"
In loving memory of Robert "Bob" Hite, 83, of Monroeville who passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025. Always putting family first, Bob was a loving husband to his wife Carol (Keegan) for almost 55 years, a devoted father to Christine (Mark) Cantola and Kelly (George) Sullivan and a proud grandfather to Jack.
Bob was the son of the late Pearl Drenning and was preceded in death by his siblings Donald, Mary, Dolores and Gladys. He worked as a boilermaker at US Steel Homestead Works for 19 years and then worked as a Mail Processing Equipment Mechanic at the USPS Bulk Mail Center in Warrendale until his retirement.
Bob was known for his colorful stories and especially enjoyed sharing about his time serving in the Air Force and his adventures growing up in Wilkinsburg. He was always entertaining us with his thoughts of new and better ways to do things and truly embodied the notion of 'If There's a Will, There's a Way.'
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the GENE H. CORL FUNERAL CHAPEL INC. AND CREMATION SERVICES OF MONROEVILLE, 4335 Northern Pike (412-372-2100). Condolences may be made at:
