ROBERT C.

Robert C. Critchlow, age 91, formerly of Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025. Born on July 8, 1933, Robert was a proud graduate of Shaler High School. Following graduation, he served honorably in the United States Army. He went on to build a long and respected career as a Shop Superintendent at both National Valve and Greulich, where he was known for his strong work ethic and Leadership. Robert was also passionate about sports and spent over 40 years as a basketball referee - a role that brought him joy, community and countless friendship. He was also the devoted husband to the late Eleanor (Barbour) Critchlow. Bob was loving father to Robert (Debbie) G. Critchlow of Cabot, Lynn (Orren Shankle) A. Waits of Gibsonia and Jeffrey (Holly Baker) M. Critchlow of Shaler Township. He was also father-in-law to the late Robert M. Waits, Jr.; and proud grandfather to Crystal L. Waits and Hunter (Shelby) Waits. He also had eight nieces and nephews. Robert's memory will be treasured by all who knew him for his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty to family and the integrity with which he lived his life. Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 AM until the time of service at 2:30 PM at the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., 1500 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Friends or the Ozanam Basketball Program.
