ROBERT DAVID

Robert David Weston, born July 1, 1937, passed away peacefully at the age of 89, due to a persistent illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellen Cross; and sister, Lorraine Purcell.

Survived by children, Janet (Carl) Daltner, Robert Weston and Jonathan (Erin) Weston; grandchildren Kyle, Melissa, Mika, Daniella, Samantha, Miranda, Cameron and Katie; brother of Patricia Wagner, Cliff Weston and Sharon (Jim) Flinn.

Robert was a lover of all things mechanical, an avid fisherman and North Hills School District bus driver. He was always proud of the fact that he was a paperboy to several Pirates' players, and attended many games as a child and with his family and kids.

Robert spend a large portion of his later years with his long-term partner, Marlene Woods. They enjoyed traveling, bowling, dancing and cooking.

Memorial Mass to be held on August 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Sts. John & Paul Catholic Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Rd., Franklin Park, PA 15143.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Susan G. Koman for breast cancer research.
