ROBERT G. "BOB"

Of Braddock Hills, age 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, April 10, 2026. Loving father of Jill Ann Swick (David) of Braddock Hills. Dear grandpap of Kailey Swick of Braddock Hills. Brother of Mary Jane Allen (the late William B. Allen, Jr.) of Pittsburgh. Brother-in-law of Joan Kress of North Versailles and the late Arthur Kress. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was born in Homewood to Bernhardt and Irene (Tillett) Leech. He graduated from Westinghouse High School in 1953 and attended Duff's Business Institute. He also served in the U.S. Army. It was while working at Mine Safety Appliances that he met his wife, Dorothy L. Kress, and together they shared 50 years of marriage, until her death in April 2017. He worked at MSA for 45 years and continued as a consultant for several years after his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially dining out together and watching all Pittsburgh sports. Friends received at WOLFE MEMORIAL, LLC, FOREST HILLS CHAPEL, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15221, on Tuesday, April 14, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. A service will be held in the funeral home chapel, on Wednesday, April 15, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Dennis Handley of Swisshelm Park Primitive Methodist Church officiating.
