ROBERT M. "BO" SCHINDLER
Age 59, of Gibsonia, Adams Twp., passed away unexpectedly at UPMC Hamot in Erie. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 31, 1963, he was the son of Robert J. and Mary Lou Gates Schindler. Bo was CEO of Geo-Solutions, Inc. A graduate of Shaler High School and Gannon University, he was a member of the Sheiks Fraternity. He enjoyed golf and was a member of Treesdale Golf and Country Club. A hockey enthusiast since high school and college, he also played in the adult league in the area. Most recently he was active with the PittRace Garage Recon Race Group. He was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Twp. Surviving are his wife, Karen L. Massey Schindler, who he married on April 29, 1989, his son, Nicholas Schindler of New Haven, CT, his daughter, Sara Skalos (Aaron) of Shaler, his grandson, Brooks Skalos, his parents, Robert J. and Mary Lou Schindler of Millvale, a sister, Janine Kirker of West View, a brother, Joseph Schindler (Laurie) of Rochester, NY and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristine L. Schindler and his brother, Richard Schindler. Friends will be received at the McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, PA on Thursday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066 on Friday at 11 AM. Fr. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating. Please meet at the church. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
