ROBERT ROCCO SCALIO Obituary
Plum Boro, PA - Age 75, of Plum Boro, PA, passed away in the afternoon, on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Beloved father of Linda Marie (Scalio) Amity, Olivia (Scalio) Williams and Alayna Scalio; father-in-law of Duane Amity; grandfather of Nicholas and Kaitlin Amity; and companion of Sandy Matesic.
Bob was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to Mary Josephine Testa Scalio and William Alexander Scalio, on November 2, 1949. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by brothers, William Michael Scalio and Lorenzo Luciano Scalio. Bob is survived by other family members as well as dear friends from Larimer Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA.
Bob deeply loved the Lord, his family and friends. He was very proud of his Italian-American heritage and was a wonderful cook. He was gifted with musical and vocal talents. Bob sang and played the saxophone, bass guitar, and the flute, as he performed in the band, Gideon, playing at many local venues in the 1970's.
He is so deeply missed, beyond our words. There will be no services.
