On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Ronald D. Vrana, age 89, of Bethel Park, passed on. Husband of Kathleen Rauscher. Beloved son of the late Albert and Mathilda (Olivanai) Vrana. Father of Rick Vrana, Michelle (Joe) Lapaglia, the late Ronald A. Vrana (Kim), and John Vrana. James (Wendy) Rauscher, Sandra (Jon) Olesnevich; grandfather of Brad (Lori) Lapaglia, Scott (Erin) Lapaglia, the late Josh Lapaglia, Jade Vrana, Adam Vrana, and Mariah (Ethan) Elliot. Sarah (Andrew) Goughnour, Rachel (Caleb) Nesselhauf; and his beloved dog, Maggie. Lovingly remembered by many great-grandchildren. Ronald was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, played the accordion, and was a great storyteller. He was an avid bowler involved in multiple bowling leagues. He was a lover of golf. He actively participated in community organizations, including: The American Legion, Gold Card Club, and Bethel Park Historical Society, to name a few. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to disabled veterans. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
