It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ron on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. A man of deep faith, we know that Ron is in Heaven surrounded by those loved ones who preceded him in death.

Ron's life was shaped by meaningful relationships and career accomplishments. Born in Greensburg, PA, May 11, 1950, to Arthur and Anna Croushore Ron was the youngest of the family and the first to attend college. After graduation from Penn State Ron eventually embarked on a career in Real Estate. Ron was a corporate executive with Merrill Lynch realty and in 1991 he became an owner when the company became the Prudential Preferred Realty. Ron continued serving as CEO for 27 years during which time the company became Berkshire Hathaway The Preferred Realty. In 2018 Ron sold the company to enjoy his other passions of fishing and boating at his home in Florida. A long time member of Oakmont Country club and clubs in Florida, Ron also enjoyed golfing when not reeling in a Snook (always in the slot).

Ron loved Real Estate and his contributions to the industry are well known and admired. While too numerous to mention Ron's career included positions and awards within RAMP, PAR and NAR. Ron was also appointed to the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency. Ron believed sincerely that Real Estate was truly the best profession in America. He felt privileged to help people achieve home ownership. Ron's work ethic and kindness were unparalleled.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife Cindy and his children and grandchildren. Pap adored his grandchildren and they in turn adored him right back. Ron had a true passion for life, love and laughter and will forever be missed by those who loved him. Private services will be held to honor Ron's life. God Speed Ron we were beyond blessed to have had you for the time God granted us.
