RONALD

Ronald Huston, age 91, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Born on October 10, 1934, Ron was a proud graduate of Brentwood High School where Ron kept close friendships with many of his classmates. He especially enjoyed arranging the semi-annual high school reunions.

Ron was married to Beverly A. (Baker) Huston for almost 67 years and a caring father to his two daughters, Darcy Huston (married to Jim Pflasterer) and Megan Huston. He cherished his role as a grandfather to Zoe, Haley, and Heidi Pflasterer. He is also survived by his sister, Suzanne Miklas. Ron was predeceased by his brother, Thomas J. Huston.

Ron served his country honorably as an Army veteran of the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. His sense of duty and commitment extended beyond his military service into every aspect of his life. After serving, Ron continued his education by earning an Associate Degree from CCAC. His professional journey was marked by significant accomplishments, including serving as President of National Printing Co., where he demonstrated great leadership and mentorship as he trained Megan in the printing business. Ron also held the esteemed position of President of the Pittsburgh JayCees and was a co-founder of Regal Travel Company, leaving a lasting impact on the business community.

Ron found joy in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid golfer who spent countless hours on the greens perfecting his game, watching Action & Comedy movies, playing cards with friends and family and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Those who knew Ron will remember him for his great sense of humor and for being a loving husband and caring father who brought laughter and joy to those around him.

At Ron's request, he will be buried at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, and no service is planned at this time. Arrangements entrusted to BALL FUNERAL CHAPEL, INC.
